Role models
This movie is wonderfully funny,when I went to see it I was a little worried than it was going to
be more than stupid and drawn out with some sappy ending that there is no storyline to or slow crawl or climb to, but no this
movie was perfectly paced. There was a sweet dispostion from the start of the movie with the main characters of Danny Donahue (paul rudd) and Wheeler(seann william scott) the movie start with both of these men having a job where they promote
an energy drink to highschool children... Well danny is at a point of wondering where his life is going so decides to all
of a sudden with no romance or flair ask his girlfriend of 8 yrs to marry him where she than turns him down and leaves him.
Causing him to pretty much have a bad day and than decide to steal his work vechile off of a tow truck and basically caused
a lewd scene with a high school momument. So he ends up in court which his ex girlfriend (elizabeth banks) represents him
and get the friends community service instead of jail time. Where they are each paired up with a child with problems.
Well Danny is paired up with super geek Augie farks (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) which lives in a role playing world that danny is not ready to enter! Wheeler is paired with a young boy with social problems
with man role models and other peers named Ronnie Sheilds(Bobb'e J. Thompson). The movie has of course a drama in the middle causing termoil with the boys than is of course fixed and reconciled. The
movie is very pleasing and good for a wonderful laugh. I wouldn't suggest this to be a family movie,but a great date movie
or a warm belly laugh for friends!

The Phantom of the opera....
Ok boys this is a chick movie totally.... I will say that I actually like it and be ashamed of it... Mainly because I've always
enjoyed singing and the songs in this movie,because in my own little world I like to think I can. Mainly the movie is about
an opera girl names christine and she has a stalker(The Phantom) basically that wants to see her become a star.. So she takes
lessons from him and he teachs her how to sing. Than the diva "La Colotta" decides not to sing at one of the operas and give
Christine the chance to sing and everyone enjoys it... Basically it's a love story and Christine is torn between two men...
One her childhood sweet heart and the other the opera... Guys if you want to look sensative and get your girlfriend into bed
this would be the movie to watch... Girls if you want to torture your boyfriend... This would be the movie to do it... There
is no chance for any hetrosexual male to like this movie... And if your boyfriend does like it... I would be worried...
Sin City
Sin city was recently released onto dvd Aug 16th.. If you are a comic fan of frank miller and you haven't seen this movie
you should have you should your nipples peirced with a rusty staple gun and your eye lids should be glues to the brigde of
your nose!!!! Those who aren't fans I would really suggest that before you dive into a movie like sin city you should really
read one or two of the comic to actually enjoy the movies full effects.. To fully respect the glory of this movie... It is
one of the BEST comic book to movies I have ever seen in my life... I hope that same day this will be repeated, but as for
right now... I am thrilled with this movie! The movie is in black and white with hints of color here and there.. Those who
have read the comic will understand this purpose....The movie is based on 3 stories from the sin city comic books "The
Hard goodbye, The big fat Kill, and That yellow bastard" The hard goodbye is based on a character named Marv in the
comic book he is you're basic rough and tough character he done a lot of good in his past, but also some bad... He is as you
not the best looking of guys and then this beautiful woman named Goldie comes to him and gives him the night of his life...
Next day Goldie is murdered and he plan is to find her killers and get revenge.... The big fat kill is based on a character
named Dwight(Clive Owen) he is a photojournalist and had some rough times, but in the movie what they don't explain is Dwight
had a run in with the law over a rich woman who screwed him over... So he basically had he face redone and grew hair...Anyway
in the big fat kill he tries to protect a woman he cares about named Shellie from her crazed ex boyfriend and in the story
her Crazed ex boyfriend (Jackie boy) runs into a troop of hookers that take the law in their own hands and sort him out...
Dwight who is invovled with the leader of these woman tries to protect them... That yellow bastard (my favorite of the comic
books) This story would be based on Bruce Willis character John Hartigan he is basically the last honest cop in sin city.
During the beginning of the story Hartigan is tieing up a loose end before he retires, which is a serial killer(Jr) who rapes
little girls and rips them apart. Well hartigan knows who this killer is and the killer's father(senator Rourke) who is a
highly respected man and can't be touched... Well Hartigan finds the little her name is Nancy Callahan and manages to save
her from the serial killer blowing off the boy ear,hand and penis.. Well Hartigan is than shot up by his partner and than
back up comes and saves little nancy... While Hartigan awaits for what's coming to him.. He is told by Senator rourke (who
is the serial killer father) that he is going to keep him alive so that he can basically torture him and tells him that Jr
is still alive, but a vegatable.. Well Hartigan is framed for the murders of the girls as well as raping nancy. He spends
8 years in prison with no contact from any except for nancy who had written him every week... Well 3 months had gone by and
he hadn't heard from her... Worried he admits to everything so he could get out... He finds nancy(Jessica Alba) only to realize
it was a set up made by jr so he could find her as well...And I'm going to leave it at that... You'll just have to watch the
movie to find out how everything ends...
I give this movie two thumbs and my 2 big toes.... I like it that much
